Dear Colleagues,

The English Regional Transport Association (ERTA) is calling a Forum Meeting in Matlock tomorrow (30th June) and details are as follows:

MATLOCK FORUM – SATURDAY 30 JUNE

1.00pm food and social
2.00 – 4.00pm business

Anyone interested please contact Simon Barber:
T 020 8940 4399
E simon4barber@gmail.com
You and anyone else is cordially invited. There will be other opportunities in due course. Our goal is to try and bring people together, consolidate support and actions/policies commensurate to getting the line rebuilt as a through railway again. We take a view that normal passenger, freight and heritage operations could coexist and share costs and opportunities. It needs council and parliamentary support, frameworks which enable and call for a collaborative togetherness.

I attach a poster which may also be of interest. Meanwhile you can see us on Twitter https://twitter.com/ReopenPeakRail and Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/ReopenPeakRail/
The ERTA Website is: https://ertarail.com/events/
We are currently seeking a new webmaster able to make a dedicated page to reopening Peak Rail. All offers and enquiries open to entertain. ERTA is voluntary.

Yours sincerely,

Richard Pill
ERTA Officer.
