We are non structured, but we discuss BRTA, taking things forward and general rail-based - how do we advance the nationwide programme of local rail reopenings, ensure a switch of funding from new and more roads to local rail modal choices more and ensure the resourcing of BRTA - people and funding to ensure it can be done as well as we can?  https://brtarail.com/events/

We had a good and lively public meeting in Leicester with a healthy discussion following 2 good talks. 

If we want more, we must all help recruit more members to BRTA, make donations and offer to serve on marketing and the Executive Committee please. https://brtarail.com/become-a-member/

We are nationwide in aspiration and we need a level playing field of funding from road to rail and maybe larger campaign groups can lobby the current Government to Restore Your Railway Fund instead of tearing up the countryside with more roads; which add to congestion, not reduce it! https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-39328643 The trouble is, CPRE and the environmental correspondent team at BBC and other media rarely promotes the rail alternative!
